Background:
For many years, (since age 12), THE CARS have been my biggest musical
inspiration. I was instantly mesmerized by the songwriting of
Ric Ocasek, the keyboard ability and synthesis pioneering of
Greg Hawkes, diverse guitar techniques of Elliot Easton, the
vocal smoothness of Ben Orr and the tight, cool rythms of David
Robinson.

The Cars'
muisc has inspired me to do many things. For starters, I stuck
with my 10+ years of piano lessons thanks to my Cars devotion.
From there I went on to obtaining a degree in songwriting from
Berklee College of Music in Boston. In fact, I tortured my songwriting and arranging
instructors at Berklee with analysis upon analysis of Cars songs
whenever possible.

Inspiration:
I've written
more than 300 songs in my life (trust me, only about 50 are what I would consider 'good
ones'), and The Cars have
been one of the biggest influences on the style of my songwriting.

The Cautions:
Finally,
after several years of working on an album with my songwriting
partner and good pal Jeff Caglarcan, we have put together the
band I've always wanted. Catchy, funny & neurotic songs that
I hope would make Ric proud.

In 2005, we were invited to be on a Tribute CD to The Cars, put out by Not Lame Recordings (a great power-pop store!) You can order the CD HERE

Productions.
I specialize in Website Design, Jingles for radio & TV, Graphic
Design for magazines, billboards, CD artwork for bands, etc...
By night, I play/rehearse with my band The Cautions, write songs,
or go out to the clubs in Boston & Rhode Island. |

Letter to The Cars:
My greatest
hope is that Ric, Greg, Elliot, Ben or David checks out this
site, listens to some of my work with The Cautions, and maybe
drops me a line to let me know what they thought. Maybe that's
too much to ask, but that's my dream.
